I was so excited after watching your first few videos I had to start my project before even finishing the class haha! I made my illustration & pattern in Photoshop. Here is my process from start to finish! Hope you like it! :)

I started with some very rough sketches & cleaned them up to create the outlines of my flowers... trying to make sure I closed all the little gaps so I could colour everything in easily! Thanks for the tip!

 

I picked my colours & cleaned up all the edges (and also, finished watching the rest of the videos lolol):

 

Added the shading (which I found to be the hardest part. Any suggestions on Photoshop brushes that blend well?) and background colour:

 

And finally created my pattern! YAY!
