Linocut: Introduction to Printmaking and Creating Hand-Cut Stamps

Wowee! It is gorgeous. There is balance and movement (I feel that movement is one of the hardest things to create with lino). I really like the white space around the flamingos. It separates them nicely from the water. Thank you so much for sharing this! To play a small role in this artwork is really special and you gave me the warm fuzzies. Keep arting!

Thanks so much! Yeah, the white space around the flamingos was the area I tweaked the most! I really loved working on this. The only other time I tried Lino I was terrified of cutting myself the whole time so it wasn’t any fun hahaha! This time I used a softer block and found it very relaxing

This was a great introduction to Linocut, and I didn&rsquo;t even slice my finger open!!
