Carving Your First Linocut Print

<p>Wow! This is beautiful. I love the various motions of the birds - very dynamic. </p><p>Yes, figuring out the right amount of ink is tricky. It's really a mix of the right amount of ink and pressure. Test prints on scrap paper are a good way of getting a feel for what works for each print.</p>

<p>I loved this process! Still practicing applying the correct amount of ink—it’s trickier than it looks, and I think it depends a lot on having a high quality brayer (which I do not)</p>
