I used good paper for the sketch and cheap (Goldline Aquapad) cellulose paper for the water colour 😱 I was fighting with the paper the whole time. I couldn't get a smooth wash, it was impossible to lift tiny errors, and the paint was going everywhere but where I wanted it 😭
I will try again with my cotton Fabriano paper and see how much difference it makes. It will be a good chance for me to practice getting my proportions closer on the mouth and nose too. Practice makes perfect!
