This was fun, though intense for me. I did a sketchbook study of two of Nia's cakes, using watercolor pencils and markers. I thought doing a full watercolor painting would then be "a piece of cake." So I thought! Ha ha! I wanted to try a cake and found a Pistachio Raspberry Celebration Cake on Pinterest. Here are the study, the photo from Pinterest, and my feeble attempt to do it.
