I haven’t knitted since I was a teenager and really struggled with it back then.  I am back to learning and here is my first attempt! I used Rowan bulky wool and 10mm needles. I finished in three days with only one error. Now I’m working on learning the purl stitch. FUN! Thanks for the class, Lisa! it helped!
