I usually work with a pointed nib, but have recently been teaching myself some broad nib calligraphy, which I am really enjoying. So Seb's class is very well-timed. I find italic incredibly hard! My final project is far from perfect - I didn't commit to my flourishes and the paper I used was probably too toothy, but I really enjoyed the process from start to finish and watching Seb's classes were incredibly helpful!

I chose to use both mine and my husband's names for my final project as I wanted both an ascender and a descender. Luckily our names have one of each. And I love an ampersand!
