Loved this class, thank u! It was great fun trying out different  techniques. Next time ill plan my background first i think, leaving white space for my bird as i had a lot of trouble trying to around it (the pink bird) and it kinda looked funny. I was thinking a half background, on half or quarter of the page, highlighting the bird mite look better. I thought maybe with such intense colouring a lite background mire be better. What do u think? Any advice warmly welcome! I was a bir afraid of doing the backgrounds on the other birds as i didnt like the pink birds background much but maybe that was the colour? Thinking blue might have been better? Thanks again and look forward to your other classes. Just got some inktense pencils so loving all the ways to use them!

Ps the birds are a fantasy type of Waxwing, ( top and bottom), a cormorant and a heron. I used watercolour wet on dry and some wet on wet to do the birds and inktense pencils on top, wet. I used caran dache crayons wet on wet and wetted, for the branches and reads and the reed bed.Fantasy birds, watercolour and watercolour pencils - image 3 - student project
