I loved this class, I feel like I learned a lot and some things that had not clicked for me before are starting to feel more intuitive.  I really appreciated hearing more about your thought process while painting Will, and the sped up footage was definitely helpful to see where you were headed with each step in the painting.

It put me into a mindset of recreating this painting in my own way and I wasn't focused on trying to replicate every color mix and brush stroke.  Instead, I focused on achieving certain values and shapes and it felt like it flowed better for me.

I really enjoyed putting my own touches into the background.  I tried to go for organic drips instead of controlled ones, and I played around with some salt effects here and there for added textures.
