I picked up this Pigeonflex twin-lens reflex camera from eBay for $43. I figured what do I have to lose? If it didn't work, it would make a nice bookend. Turns out, it works great. The shutter fires at all the right speeds. The glass isn't perfect, but it adds a bit of character. I took the camera out to Amboy, CA on the old Route 66 and shot a roll of Ilford Delta 100 film. It was a hot, cloudy morning, but there was plenty of diffused sunlight. I shot each frame at 1/200th of a second at f/11. The camera has a 80mm f/3.5 taking lens.

I didn't have access to a flatbed scanner so I bought a Pixl-Latr negative holder, placed an LED light underneath and shot these with my Nikon Z7 and an old 90mm Vivitar Macro Lens. I edited them using Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop. On the first 3 images, I cropped them a bit in Photoshop. For the last 2, I did some in-camera cropping (by zooming in on the negative) to see if I could squeeze a bit more resolution out of the shots.
