I took the liberty to add the faux Delft idea to an Celtic/Irish knot pattern. I did this, because I befriended an Irish boy 45 years ago while on holidays in France and we are still close friends after all this time, no matter the distance between us. I live in The Netherlands and he lives in Ireland. I believe my creation expresses the bond between his country and mine, his family and mine, and him and myself. AT least that is what I intended to achieve :)

I hope it's okay that I post it here, even though it is not quite like the tutorial.
