Very thoughtful painting. Lovely!

I feel so much emotion in this piece. It’s speaking to me especially as I’m going through a very painful family crisis. Right now when looking at this picture it’s making me think about how sometimes we have to just let go and accept loss as we find Beaty in the memory. I think if I’d seen this two months ago my reaction to it would have been more of how being open to opportunities and being curious leads us to wonderful things.

Stunning portrait and excellent use of your limited materials. The light reflecting off her face brings out her details especially her eyes. Overall I see an expression of either sadness in her eyes or wonder.

really enjoyed having a try at your class, think it&rsquo;s around a 6 out of 10 but didn&rsquo;t have all the pencils and water colours so will plan better in future
