I've been really into dramatic bouquets lately; lots of shapes, different types of foliage, and an overall bouquet shape that bursts in many directions.

I went to my local flower shop and picked out some stems to draw from. I bought a really large bouquet, but only used a few of the bloom pictures for this illustration so I could save some of the others for future work. I used ranunculus, hydrangea, dianthus, an english rose, and an interesting filler that I had never seen before. 

These are all the drawings I ended up digitizing for my project, which turned into...
