Double & Long Exposures

For this project, I tried to push a little the concept of Long Exposure and painting with light. Even though the two images I choose to present as light painting look like they were taken as multiple exposures, what I did there was put my camera on a tripod, configuring it in "bulb", keeping the shutter pressed, and ask my other brother to shoot a second camera using a flash with a color filter. That way we managed to get these blueish and reddish shots in the background, capturing a specific movement. We used a Kodak Portra 400 for this one.

For the portraits, I used a conventional multiple exposure technique. I was using my Mamiya 645S with a 150 mm lens. Because of the size of the camera and lens, it was a bit difficult to take a selfie, so I had to change the project a bit and shoot a portrait of someone else instead. For the first one, I used my brother as a model once again. I took this one at his apartment while he was working on a headpiece for his dance presentations, so I took the first shot while talking to him and the second one of the headpieces that had a lotus flower-like shape on the forehead as the second shot, used a Kodak Portra 400 film for this one. For the second photo, I decided to make one of my cousins while visiting her parents and hiking at the beach, for this one I used a Lomography Color 400 film.
