I started with a rough sketch of the door in my travel sketchbook, after listening to the class at work.

I don't like having random pieces of paper around, so I made the finished pieces in my art journal.

The first design was for the negatives, and was in keeping with the board-like negatives in the video.

For the positives, I added a letter box to the door design and wrong the positives to look like letters.

I'm quite pleased with how the two designs look side by side, and think it gives the same affect as the original.
