I created assets from some doodles I had and I picked some more or less random colors. I picked up a bunch of tricks to improve the workflow. I will use the ipad more now to create elements - it is easier to trace or draw directly with the stylus vs the mouse. Now I wish I had the 12" ipad ...Thanks Liz.

This are the lines I see through the exported eps.

The bigger square is the artboard I exported;  the smaller one is the one that AI inserts and I have all the pieces hanging off the artboard. It is not a big deal, I can trim them. I will post the image in their forum, maybe they can fix it.
