I am still very much at the learning stage of watercolour (and art!!!) I have never had a go at direct painting before, but what a great exercise, if a little scary! I usually take forever to do a painting, including sketch. This definitely made me get my skates on and get some paint down without flapping about. My robin is more than a little comedic, his beak is not quite the right shape, a little downcast... but I had a lot of fun & learnt a lot. Thank you Paul  : )
