I really loved this class. I had never done digital art before and was feeling a little overwhelmed and unsure about where to start. I had used Photoshop for editing photos, but never for digital art. This class was the perfect place to start.

I used what I learnt from the lion and bird projects to paint this picture. I used a photo that I took of a kookaburra in my backyard as reference. I need to work on making my painting more crisp and sharp, but I am still pretty happy with this considering I am new to digital painting.

 

And this was my painting for the landscape painting. I used a photo I took in Austria as reference. This was a lot of fun. I think the pen tool will take some getting used to, but it will definitely be a useful tool to master.
