For our project we chose to select three of our favorite recent movies to illustrate in iconic form - Arrival, Deadpool, and Mad Max. We chose these since we knew that having very different subject matter for each icon would provide a fun challenge for getting all of the imagery to work together as a series. 

As with all of our projects, we started with sketches to experiment with composition and determine the ideas that we wanted to bring into Illustrator:

From there we developed a color scheme, set of rules, and style to create each of the final icons:
