This project couldn't have come at a better time! I recently became a staff photographer for SUSPEND Magazine and my assignment was to document the studio/creative space of DJ Spintelect.

Spintelect who is the DJ for Alexander Spit and Talib Kweli has been a part of the hip-hop music scene for quite some time now. Since he is constantly on tour with Kweli most of the year I only had a day (an hour or two at most) to photograph and chat with him as he was traveling that same night off to Europe.
