I have forever tried to cut with the scissors tool but never understood it and wondered why.  Thank you Helen for another unique lesson.  I always am learning the easy way when I follow your lessons.

For whatever reason the white line showing is the bottom of the artboard, but don't show up in the pattern so I am ok with that.
