I needed a gift for volunteer appreciation, but most of my volunteers are older retired people who have everything they need and I hate cheap useless swag! Since we work outdoors in the south, a bandana is an essential piece of gear for most of us already. Professionally printed bandanas were prohibitively expensive and impersonal, so the idea of linocut was perfect. I sed a stamp we already had of our non-profit's logo and then cut five small blocks of local native plants, an eastern box turtle, and the fork - another essential tool in our work but also because we love our snack time.
