Here are my first attempts with a wide pen Crayola + other supplies I had on hand (the sketching paper had a logo printed on it, so that arrow in the background is not intentional).

At first I thought thin/strong strokes were a matter of pen tip angle, but you clarified it's a matter of pressure, so I started doodling and things got really better.

I think there are some issues with spacing (the double F is really hard to put together), but maybe practice will fix them... I hope so!

And I'm not completely happy with capital letterforms, but I'll make further researches for inspiration.
