I haven't had a chance to do the watercolor version yet, but I did some continuous line sketches a couple weeks ago when I was out and about in Chicago.  For the sketch of the tall buildings, I did the "top, bottom, middle" exercise mentioned at the beginning of the class.

 

 

 

Another day:  I did 2 versions in watercolor.  I felt I went further than I'd intended with the paint on the first one, so I did a second one so I could paint less representationally.
