Adding contact forms to a Hugo Static Site

Nice one! You have done an excellent job with the JavaScript as well. A great next step is to develop your own form processing API using PHPMailer on your own server. Just make sure you prevent XSS (escape user input). You will need to validate hcaptcha/recaptcha in the back end also.I also add an extra hidden form field to specify the account so my back end script knows where to send the message.The best way to get PHPMailer is install composer on your computer and require it.<a href="https://getcomposer.org/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">getcomposer.org/</a> <a href="https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer</a>I don't recommend using the PHP mail() function as discussed in many beginner tutorials.

I used hCaptcha instead of reCaptcha to experiment with the alternative approach.
