I personally feel that the new version has much more value depth and intricate detail in the stones. The facets sparkle more and you can see the light dispersion much better.

The first one also had a too small value range and hence the colors looked flat.

Wouldn't you agree? 

I am happy that with only a few tweaks, the result looks so much more professional!
