Introduction to Flourishing for the Modern Calligrapher

<p>Love this Stephanie. Thanks for posting. I like the composition and layout and of course the words too. I'm wondering how it felt penciling the flourishes vs when you used the pen and ink. Maybe practicing with pencil for a smooth and stress-free line could help you find more ease with the ink as well?</p>

Yes the pencil definitely helped, and i think more air trials would also have helped. As I see I definitely have some bumps and awkward areas

Playing around with the speed of your hand moving the pen on the page could help too. Sometimes if I move too slowly or cautiously, I get more bumpy/wiggly. :)

<p>I came with an inspiration for a valentine's card. I'me very happy with the energy and rhythm of it, but my flourishes are still a bit cumbersome.
