Using student-grade Micador Brilliant watercolours, I experimented with mixing my own shades, exploring colour, transparency, and layering. The squiggle technique for flowers and leaves allowed a natural, loose, organic style, and following the instructional videos built my confidence with brush control and floral strokes. This process encouraged me to trust my instincts, embrace creativity over perfection, and enjoy the journey. While not perfect, the piece reflects my growth, experimentation, and love of watercolour.
