Thank you, Ekaterina, for a wonderful class on soft pastels. I recently fell in love with this medium and truly enjoyed your instruction. My background wasn’t progressing in a direction I liked, but I kept working on it and eventually decided to go with what I had. My toucans may be a little off in proportion, especially the one on the left, but it was great practice with the pastels. They seem to be having quite a conversation! 

I used Pastelmat along with various pastel brands. However, I had trouble achieving the highlights at the end with my pastel pencils, like you did. I used Stabilo CarbOthello, but they wouldn’t draw over the pastels. Is there a brand that works better for that purpose? Thank you!
