Color Grading: Creating the Film Look in Davinci Resolve

Mario, thank you for submitting your work! You've definitely applied the tools and techniques we covered in the course! Great job! I like how you were able to take a flat log image, convert it into proper rec.709 color, and then make the final image nice and vibrant with good contrast. One thing that I would advise is to lift some of the shadows around the face and maybe pull back the saturation a bit. This would make the eyes more visible and make the overall color of the image feel more natural. Again, you've done a great job and I'm excited to see your next project! Keep up the great work!

What you're seeing is the Color Space Transformed Image, then the first grade I did with the little knowledge I had of Color Grading, and the last one is the new color grade I applied to the video with this new knowledge. I am amazed.
