Beginner Figure Drawing - Introduction to Drawing Clothing and Drapery

Hello again!Yes, drapery is a bit tricky, so don't feel too bad about spending the extra time on these. Overall these are looking pretty good so far. The second set actually benefits from the longer time spend on them. In the timed images the folds and compression looks a little too rushed in some parts, the fantasy costume in particular probably could use a redraw. Remember that drapery is really going to slow you down so I'd recommend in the future just drawing as much as you can as accurately as you can within the time limit. If that means only a portion of a sleeve is done but the folds are better constructed that's a better result than rushing through trying to draw and render everything down. Understanding how compression works is more important than speed. Speed will eventually come with time. But keep practicing these up. Did you have any questions about this class? Thanks!
