I am currently in an evolution/metamorphosis phase myself; that is why I took the opportunity to show you the method I use to gain clarity and direction when defining my artistic Style.

WEEK 2

I organised my inspiration under 4 different categories and saw a clear evolution! I still like bold colour and texture, but I am more interested in realism, in gradients, and vibrancy that feels magical and ethereal. I also enjoy more complex compositions and more contemporary storytelling, dealing with fashion, architecture, and nature.

 

WEEK 3

I completed my Style Manifesto!! I am, however sure that in a few months I will revisit it and adapt it to my new and evolved taste!!

WEEK 4

I did a lot of painting, I practised and stayed consistent!!! And I surprised myself, really, really liking oil pastels! I never tried them before, but the effect that they create is exactly what I am after! I think I will also start using oil paints very soon!
