Digitize Your Own Calligraphy: From Logo to Letterpress

Hi! I have a question. I noticed that there are two black dots underneath the black lettering of "Resa Hayes".  What are these for? Are they for centering the image? What are the dimensions/measurements for that? Thank you for your help! Nat

Hey Natalie, 

Oh those two little dots were just small design details that were between the words 'Evaluation - Psychotherapy - Meditation' I had the dots finished in gold foiling also that's why they were in the blacked out set also! 

Nothing related to design at all!

Thanks for your interesting teaching. I learned something from your film. However, since I am a beginner, I don't really understand how you edit your business card in Illustrator. Is it possible for you to provide a more detailed teaching on how to set the size of the card, add the cross signs, and how to put the information within equal space (as is shown by those words "evaluation, psychotherapy, and mediation")? That is, the complete editing process of the following image. Hey Vera! Thanks for your feedback, I most definitely can go into the finer details of making the business cards! What I'll do is I'll host a live session for people to tune into to get a better insight to the whole process, will keep you up to date with the date of the live session! :)

I love these cards. I need to know.. what kind of paper did they use? It's sort of antiqued and weathered looking..
