First time ever with charcoal. Loved this class but was so afraid to try, it sat on my table for two weeks.  I used strathmore charcoal paper and has texture so was hard to eraser face outline. I only used this vine charcoal although I had ordered compressed charcoal and newsprint paper. I will try again. Overall I am happy with result for first time (not sure the model would be)

I did have a hard time stifling that urge wanting to blend.
