Studying the first round made me want to simplify this illustration further, so i updated my new version with the lone celestial one below. 

 

I really love texture in my work, so i gave myself more liberty at the beginning of the class and below was my first pass -- I definitely feel like i overworked my drawing, but it has balance and is a different composition -- i don't hate it! I loved the class in just general; exploring shapes and small bits of inspiration from around pinterest, without copying it line by line. It was a great project to do in my 1-2 rainy nights of the year we get in CA :)
