Thank you Anna.  My husband was confused by the trees on left. Maybe its because I incorporated some of that redish brown. Trees in the distance should maybe be blue grey in color?   I did try to give this little fox a sweet expression, he isn't going to eat that robin. I painted a fox with Janes Davies that looks so sly he seriously creeps me out.

Hi Kris - well, you've certainly done fabulous credit to your new DS watercolours! This is a super painting. Lovely soft colours in the sky that set the mood.  I also really like your colour harmony between the robin and fox. If you'd gone for a bright scarlet red on the robins breast it would have been out of kilter - you made absolutely the right colour choice here. Just the right amount of white snow spatter in the trees too, it's there but not overdone. My eye went straight to the fox's eye because it's really well painted, as is the lovely orange-brown fur on his body. Well done - you aced it - and thank you for sharing your lovely project. These colors! I just love the blue/ orange contrast in this painting. I loved painting this composition with Carrie.
