Hello Joanne!These are wonderful :)In your monochrome painting, you've used tonal values very effectively. The values are placed accurately, which creates a great sense of depth. You've also captured the stormy, misty atmosphere in the sky beautifully.In your second painting colors are wonderful. Wet on wet technique on the sky is great. I only suggest that river should be wider on the bottom.You've conveyed depth and mood wonderfully. Well done! And I really appreciate if you leave a review about class. I loved getting the misty feeling, had trouble with day 2. Especially the edge of the river.
