I never expected this to work out so quickly, so I painted my cactus a little too close to a practice blob to save paper.

I overdid the splatter and the dots, and I went in too soon for the second layer and pen, so I made smudges but I'm quite happy with this first result. Such a fun class and so well explained. It's actually quite easy to make a water color image come to life.

And I made a second one. I think it is getting better. The subtle splattering is still a thing to learn! I think my paint is too saturated and it starts competing with the cactus.
