In this project I, the toned paper I was using does not have enough tooth to hold the soft pastel when blending. I also found that my dark gray was to dark so I added a little lavender in the shadow of the flower. I think my leaves should be thinner but I like the overall effect.  This was a nice simple shape to work with, so thank you for sharing your expertise.
