Butterflies are free to fly

Butterflies are free to fly - student project

Hello !

What a nice class and a good surprise to have Photoshop for Lunch as well!

I enjoyed  starting to understand the concept of the clipping mask and would love to know more about masks in Photoshop.

Back to this project:

First I did a butterfly pattern.

After applying the offset I scaled down the original butterfly and gave it a stroke.

Then, I created the background and the flower on different layers and that is the result.

And then....:)

I took into consideration Philo's comment and tries to shift the focus from flower to butterfly. I hope that works well.

However, I then created  3 butterflies within each the same pattern just in different scale and layering.

Love and Peace :)
