Building a Business
Thank you for the course. I would like to earn enough in my business over the next few years that I can do it full time. I'm currently doing it alongside my full-time job. I'm finding it hard to work out what's worth continuing in terms of working hours/income ratio. Especially in the beginning, I invested a lot of time in things for which I didn't get any money or only peanuts in the end.
What are your current "categories" in business or life?
I currently get a few commissions from private individuals and through Fiverr. But I'm working on collaborations and expanding my YouTube/Twitch channel.
How can you diversify? What makes you or your product/service unique?
(In the case of a business) What problem do you solve for people?
I currently cover various areas for customers. But I don't yet have my own product that sets me apart from others. That's why I'm currently working on a painting for which I'm looking for a cooperation partner to turn it into a Diamond Painting that is also available to other customers.
Which area do you want to work on more? Video production and making art
What problem are you currently facing?
That my business growth is slow because I don't yet have a unique selling point that customers desperately want. I just go from customer to customer with low prices to get orders, so it's more like extra pocket money than a business income.
How can you turn this problem into an opportunity? I use it to test different products and stuff to see what would I like to do Long term. But I also analyzed what brings in money and what might be worth expanding.
