For this project I decided to imagine an app that is use for bird watchers. Since I love watch birds I think it would be nice to play with this idea.

I'll be honest. I didn't have good ideas with names and how it would work properly. As I was stuck in this and couldn't move on, I decided to go straight to the character design and make it simple. 

The idea here was practice my illustration, so I decided just to move on and finish my project. I feel that the illustrations could be more conceptual if the idea of ​​the app was better resolved but I'm happy with the result.

 

Here is the first sketches of my character design which is a bird 

Here is the final project. The idea of ​​the app is that bird watchers can take pictures of birds, upload them to the app and other users can help identifying the species or other informations. With all this information shared, a mapping of various bird species is created in various places around the world.
