Hi Catherine - the 3 balloons look great actually, and clever of you to adapt the painting that way. The slightly curved string on the blue balloon gives the whole bunch some movement - don't you just love 'happy accidents'! Looks great, one can never have too many balloons! And as Kris says is just windy. Lends more to the art work.

This is a wonderful little illustration Catherine. I cant wait to try it myself. I like the way you've filled in those color washes. Your line work is so expressive and shows both form and motion. There is a little wind catching that blue balloon, no worries. Can you colorize a little whit paint and dab it down or use and ink eraser?

Since I had marks I couldn't get off, even with a magic eraser, I added two more balloons. The string on the blue one, unfortunately is not straight.
