For your class project, I invite you to create your own beautiful botanical mushroom art! Using the techniques we covered, you’ll have the chance to experiment with gouache (or watercolours) and coloured pencils to design a series of nature-inspired pieces. You have two fun project options:

1. Botanical Mushroom Postcards: Paint 1 or all 5 different mushroom illustrations on individual postcards. Play with colours, details, and your unique style to make each mushroom come alive.

2. Decorative Mushroom Garland: Turn your mushroom illustrations into a charming, eco-friendly garland! Paint a set of mushrooms, then assemble them into a lovely garland to display in your workspace or gift to a friend.

Feel free to mix and match these ideas or even create something entirely your own! When you’re ready, share your work by snapping a photo. I’d love to see either a flat lay of your postcards, a cosy workspace view of your garland, or both. Let’s inspire each other!
