These are gorgeous Denise and I'll definitely be making some :) ( just an FYI as I watched you winding the ribbon I remembered a trick I learned working at a dry cleaner as a teenager -- when sewing on the button, before you pull it back under for the last knot, wrap the thread around the base a few times -- it doesn't show, it strengthens the bond, and as a journal closure it will put a smidge more room at the base for winding the ribbon) -- thank you as always for your continuing fount of creative inspiration

The buttons look so pretty with all the patterns on them！

They are adorable!  I used to collect buttons but a few months ago I was cleaning out my craft room and I pitched my collection.  Now I'm sorry I did:-(

Oh no! I know how you feel.. I do regular clean outs - then a while later I'll be looking for something... only to remember I gave it away! &lt;3

I love having the ability to make beautiful custom buttons now for all my lovely handmade art journals!
