Blender 3D for Beginners: Create a Black Hole Animation

Very nice SynikalSyren! Both of these animations are fantastic haha! First off, I love that you've included both versions to show the evolution of your render! Both versions are great, but it's cool to see the render get new details as you further develop it and hone in on the style you were happy with! First off, version 1 looks great! This version you stuck with original colors from class, while still adding your own unique touches! The glitch effect you added to the video is perfect for the goal of this class! I love how it makes the video feel like its cutting out and losing signal as we get our first glimpses from the far reaches of our galaxy! Obviously, the froggy explorer flying through space in their ship is the focal point here though! I love seeing this little frog pop up in random projects haha! They have sort of taken on a life of their own and that makes me so happy haha! Your animation has a nice sense of speed and does a great job of livening up the animation as it sips by the camera. Great job! Now your second version! It's equally awesome! This version has a new blue/purple color scheme that adds a fun monotone effect to the world. This simplified color scheme allows us to key in on the brighter elements in the scene like the vibrant purple black hole and the new distant planet you added! I really love how this distant object provided context to the world and helps "ground" (for lack of a better word) the scene and makes it feel less like a void. I also really like the super bright pops of hot pink in the background from what I assume are distant stars! As always, a fantastic class project!
