For my project I decided to make a logo based on this reference image of a bison:

It's a pretty cool looking animal and I saw a lot of opportunities to apply the Golden Section in this image.

As always I began with sketching.

After a while sketching I settled on my final sketch and began working in illustrator.

After few hours of refinements I ended up with my final mark below. From the initial sketch I simplified the head by combining the chin with the beard.

Finally I applied some colour and made a little herd. For my first time really working with the Golden Section I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Any and all feedback is welcome :)
