Bend, bend and bend more leaves

Finishing my classes about 'how to draw flowers' I want to do learn something about leaves.

 

Turns out there is a secret:  do S (or curves) and think where is the front and the back of the leave.

 

That's kind of easy, right?  Well, I learned this with Catalina :)

Yep, I know, is soooo pretty! 

 

I'm still amazed the things you can achieve after Catalina's classes.

 

After finishing the project, I went outside my room and pick some leaves from the flowers, I know that the brown is the only one that has some bending but the others one help me to practice drawing

Catalina, solo unas preguntas:

 

Cuando dices "front and back" de la hoja (por ejemplo, en las hojas de practica pones "front") , el front... ¿es como la punta?  ¿lo que estaría viendo la persona?  ¿y el "back" es lo que está pegado al tallo de flor/planta (el palito de donde nacen las venas)?

 

Al momento de hacer los ejercicios pensaba:   

"Si el frente es lo que estoy viendo, no me hace sentido que esté esta linea así...", también me ayudó  sombrear la parte de "abajo" de la hoja y al final les puse ese pequeño "triangulo" donde iría la parte -trasera- de la hoja.
