Bee You!

I did a couple patterns using this method, I’m using these to add to my portfolio for illustration and surface design,.

I’m including both illustrations here along with a peak at some of the elements and the resulting patterns !

Good Talk,

A simple statement, but I felt like the little bees having fun just being bees echoed the vibe and would look cute as wall art

This silly bee is based on a photo of one of my neighbors little ones- he loves “doing tumbles” so I asked his mom to snap some photos so I could use them as pose references - it’s my absolute favorite

I wanted a bee to be “flitting” not “flying” no superman pose here- he’s just taking off and letting the energy move him not really aiming at anything

My little niece draws smiley faces on all her flowers, so this is a nod to her

I love this watering can- not really sure why, maybe because although I understand perspective, I purposely made it just a teeny bit off- it reminds me of a child’s drawing in that way

It was super hard to choose which elements to use here, but I feel like these represent the theme of gardening the best
