Thumbnails on two different cotton papers

Next I went larger and played alot with markmaking:

Next I painted in my 5x7 sketchbook (colors seem duller on this paper):

Final project on Arches 140# rough paper using #0 Soft Aqua Quill. I switched to Potter's Pink (instead of Quin Rose). Dark brown ink marks made with a bamboo pen. Black lines with General's Charcoal Peel 'n Sketch pencil. D Smith Lunar Black stick on its side created interesting black marks. The rest of the marks were made with 3 Chromaflow pencils.

I'm learning to let go and experiment and see what happens. A fun and inspiring class. Thanks Denise!
